Attention Parents!:
The 3rd Lair SkatePark, its owners and staff are dedicated to skateboarding. We take great pride in hosting our skateboard camps. Our staff of instructors is professionally trained, have years of teaching experience and follow our own unique teaching curriculum.
3rd Lair Skateboard Camp welcomes all experience levels – beginner to advance and everybody in between. All instructors have mastered the unique 3rd Lair teaching style and have years of skateboarding experience.
All of our instructors have gone through rigorous training in preparation of teaching these camps. Most have honed their skills teaching here at the 3rd Lair through our own camps, clinics and lessons that we do year round at our facility. All of our instructors have also passed an in depth background checks performed by the B.C.A. of Minnesota.
Skateboarding is a new and unique sport; our approach to teaching it is the same. We focus hard on the basic fundamentals, safety, and skatepark etiquette. We intermix core training with fun and games, the result being a great experience for kids of all skill levels.
The camp itinerary is as follows: camp from 9:00 – 12:00, lunch and then free open skate for all campers. Parents are welcome to pick up their kid ANYTIME before we close which is at 9:00 pm. This way - Parents pick up at their own convenience!
Parents are not required to stay for the camp, although you are welcome to if you wish!
The 3rd Lair Skateboarding Camp is conducted in a typical style sports training camp. We start each morning with a good stretch, we emphasize safety, we focus on teaching each individual with what they want to learn!
